Christine Miller is fully registered and endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia. Christine is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychology. Christine has 20 years of experience working therapeutically in both public and private health care settings, providing specialist psychological services to adolescents and adults. Christine has held a number of senior positons in public health across her career and is the current Deputy Director of Psychology and Deputy Operations Director of Specialist Services Mental Health, at Monash Health.
Christine’s areas of expertise includes depression and anxiety disorders, substance use issues, stress and anger management concerns, adjustment to life events, trauma and PTSD. Christine uses therapeutic techniques that have demonstrated scientific evidence of effectiveness and has specialist training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD including provider status recognition with Cognitive Processing Therapy Australia.
Christine is a warm and engaging practitioner who works collaboratively with her clients to understand their concerns in the context of their life and offer them skills and techniques to enhance their abilities to cope with distress and improve their wellbeing.
